SpaceX Merger Scenario and Stock Reaction Recent market speculation that SpaceX might acquire Tesla through a stock swap or merger has strongly stimulated investor sentiment. Reflecting this merger scenario, Barclays analysts raised their price targets significantly in anticipation of a premium for Tesla. According to related reports, estimates suggest Elon Musk could hold 53% voting control of the combined company if the merger goes through. This anticipation was a major driving force behind Tesla's 5.2% single-day surge on October 26.

Growth Potential of FSD and Robotaxi Businesses In addition to the SpaceX merger rumors, a revaluation of core business fundamentals also contributed to the stock rally. Wall Street is focusing on the acceleration of Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscription service and robotaxi business. Notably, active FSD subscriptions reached 1.74 million in the third quarter, signaling strong performance from its software-driven, high-margin recurring revenue model.

Korean Market and Regulatory Trends Meanwhile, Tesla is also accelerating its autonomous driving technology expansion in South Korea. Tesla recently applied to the South Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for FSD installation approval, closely monitoring the ministry's moves to establish DCAS (Driver Control Assistance Systems) regulations aligned with UNECE standards. This shows that the South Korean market is emerging as an important hub amidst the global expansion of FSD approvals.
