Redevelopment Project Status

• On April 14, 2026, Seongnam Mayor Shin Sang-jin announced a "2 Trillion Won Support Policy for Citizen-Centric Redevelopment and Reconstruction." The initiative aims to provide financial backing for urban renewal in older neighborhoods in Sujeong and Jungwon districts, as well as the aging planned city of Bundang, through 2040.

• The policy covers all of the city's older districts as well as the Bundang area, with plans to reduce the financial burden on residents by offering support for relocation loan interest.
