Fight Results
In a shocking display of speed and skill, Raul Rosas Jr. submitted Colby Covington in just 37 seconds. The fight, which took place on November 3, 2026, was a late replacement bout after Dillon Danis withdrew from the matchup. The quick finish drew immediate attention, with reports indicating that Conor McGregor was seen laughing during the late-notice upset.
Analysis
The swift nature of Rosas' victory over a veteran like Covington highlights the unpredictable nature of bantamweight matchups, particularly when fights are made on short notice. While specific technical breakdowns of the submission are not detailed in recent reports, the 37-second timeframe suggests a dominant offensive performance from Rosas, likely capitalizing on Covington's lack of preparation time for the sudden change in opponent.

In the world of professional boxing, Zuffa Boxing 12 is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, in London, England. The event, which will stream on Paramount+, features Billam Smith vs. Clarke as a key bout on the full fight card.
