Jeonbuk and Jeonju Environment Briefing
Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province activated a Level 1 emergency response under its disaster safety countermeasures headquarters on August 31 to prepare for extreme heavy rain, focusing all efforts on preventing flooding in the western region. A public open debate was held regarding the construction of the Jeonju regional waste treatment (incineration) facility to discuss resource circulation policy directions. Additionally, customized environmental technology support projects targeting 52 small and medium-sized businesses in the province are being implemented to strengthen environmental management capabilities.
