Accelevation Debuts on Nasdaq After Pricing

Accelevation Holdings Corp. priced its initial public offering and began trading on The Nasdaq Global Select Market on September 30, 2026, under ticker symbol "ACCV." The offering was expected to close on October 1, 2026.

Lotus Power Corporation Files for Nasdaq Capital Market IPO

LPC, an electrical equipment distributor operating in Malaysia through subsidiary Lotus Power Corporation (M) Sdn. Bhd., filed for an initial public offering on the Nasdaq Capital Market under symbol "LPCI" on October 3, 2026. The company plans to offer 3,750,000 ordinary shares at an expected price range of $4.00 per share.

Q3 Pullbacks Signal Deteriorating Market Conditions

The third quarter witnessed seven IPO withdrawals and a 4x-oversubscribed deal pulled hours before pricing. Bond yields at 19-year highs are functionally closing the market for most mid-market issuers, even as headline IPO numbers remain strong—strip out SpaceX's $75 billion listing and the Q3 story shifts dramatically to weakness.

Indian Market Remains Strong; European Market Stable

India's National Stock Exchange (NSE) drew over $10 billion in bids for its $2.3 billion IPO, demonstrating investor demand for mega-cap listings. Meanwhile, the German equity market showed stability with two Börsengang (IPO) debuts in recent weeks, though large listings remain scarce.

Local view

Germany (cf-fachportal.de): The German IPO market remains continuous but cautious, with large Börsengang debuts notably absent. The market continues to process smaller listings as economic uncertainty persists.

France (Boursorama): European bourses opened without momentum on October 2, with Paris-listed equities under pressure from rising French bond yields and geopolitical uncertainty. The Bourse de Paris trimmed losses late in the week, though the IPO pipeline remains thin.

Context & numbers

2026 YTD Pipeline & Activity: As of mid-September, 109 IPOs had priced in 2026, raising $146.5 billion. September alone saw 32 IPO listings in India, with 78% debuting in the green, led by ESDS Software Solution and Adroit Industries. However, the U.S. and European markets are increasingly selective, with issuers needing demonstrably strong governance, financial reporting, and operational readiness to access the window.

Market Sentiment: The IPO window is reopening selectively in both US and Europe, but turbulence and heightened investor scrutiny are reshaping the landscape. Investors are banking returns rather than taking late-year risk, and valuations have reset downward for mid-market issuers.

On the radar

• Oura Withdrawal Signal: Oura Inc.'s pullback (a 4x-oversubscribed deal yanked before pricing) signals that even over-demand cannot overcome deteriorating market conditions when rates are elevated.
• October-December Window: The selective reopening favors large, mature issuers with 12+ months of strong financial data. Mid-sized companies face extended waits or deeper valuation cuts.
• Saudi Arabia Market Stress: Weak post-listing performance and valuation gaps are prompting Saudi regulators to rethink IPO rules, mirroring pressure seen in developed markets.
• SPAC Alternative: With 263 SPACs searching for targets and PIPE financing returning, some private companies are exploring SPAC mergers as an alternative to traditional IPOs (Europe SPAC Summit scheduled December 10, 2026).
