ADE 2026 scales into a five-day city-wide operation

Travel And Tour World reported on October 16 that Amsterdam Dance Event will run from October 21 to October 25 with 3,600 artists, 1,300 events and 300 venues across the Dutch capital. The scale makes ADE the clearest current indicator of late-October club, conference and travel demand in Europe, shifting attention from summer residencies to a dense urban programming window.

Awakenings turns ADE into a techno sub-festival

Travel And Tour World reported on October 16 that Awakenings will take over Halfweg, Netherlands, from October 21 to October 25 with eight techno events and 47 artists. The multi-event takeover shows how a major club brand is using ADE as a concentrated booking window, reinforcing techno’s role in the autumn club calendar rather than relying on one-off nights.

ADE’s 30th anniversary lineup adds mainstream and techno headliners

EDM Identity reported on October 10 that Amsterdam Dance Event completed its 30th anniversary lineup, adding Afrojack, Mau P, HoneyLuv, Joseph Capriati and Reinier Zonneveld. The additions span big-room, house and techno, suggesting ADE is balancing broad ticket appeal with club credibility during its anniversary edition.

German coverage frames ADE as heritage-plus-innovation programming

Groove published an October 14 selection of five standout ADE formats featuring Armin van Buuren, Boys Noize, KI/KI, Juan Atkins and Speedy J. The pairing of contemporary festival-facing artists with Detroit techno pioneers reflects how European club media read ADE’s programming value: heritage credibility plus scalable crowd pullers.

Dutch and German outlets framed the next week as a mix of curation, scarcity and civic recognition. Your Little Black Book published a Dutch-language guide to 55 of the best ADE events, spanning techno, day parties and club nights; FHM said half of the large ADE parties were already sold out; and Festileaks pointed late decision-makers to events with tickets still available. In Berlin, Faze Mag reported that Clubcommission presented its club-culture awards during Clubweek, with 268 clubs applying and about 250 guests from culture and politics attending Kraftwerk Berlin, where the winners’ names were announced in the room for the first time.
